I think the rats are doing this so the republicans win in November. They are so afraid of the radical left controlling them that are doing everything but begging the Republicans to win.

Interesting thought but the entire Dem leadership put together doesn’t command the brain power to come up with that, let alone control and contain the process. Natural attrition (e.g. Joe Lieberman) has removed most Dems with vestiges of decency, responsibility and ethics from the system, so that just the radical, power hungry, unethical and ends-justify-the-means types are left.
