What sense does this make? DeSantis isn't a candidate for Senate or any Federal office. What does McConnell controlling or not controlling the Senate PAC money have to do with DeSantis in any shape, manner, or form?

The RNC has nothing to do with that one way or the other. Moreover, the current RNC leadership is Trump appointed. The RGA is in fact fully supporting DeSantis and their ads are already on the air.
