Yoder the Floater is pushing this? He has a lot of tech workers in his district. I doubt they will be pleased to learn he’s trying to give their jobs away.
I know of several otherwise intelligent technical people that go absolutely ga-ga over pickles, bern, or even the wun no matter what.
People are make by unskilled, unpaid labor which enjoys the work.
I get a lot of calls from these Indian run search firms. They are obnoxious. They are demanding that, as an engineer with over 30 years experience in process control and industrial automation, I am supposed to accept a contract rate of $22 an hour.
This is their game. They push these lowball rates at candidates here in the US. Then they tell their prospective clients that they can not find candidates here in the United States who will work for these cheap rates, and they use that to push their H-1B’s. The H-1B’s can barely communicate in English, and can’t do the job.
These body shops have an address in the US, but they operate out of India - even if the caller ID says the call is coming from Metuchen NJ.
Not only that but, make it a felony to engage in lobbying of any fashion.
I'm the only one in IT to vote for Trump, as the only American.
Bingo. America First.
I’m so sick of foreign sh!+ ripping us off. The friggin Dems will do anything to gain power. May they all rot in hell.
Wrong.
Those H1B visa people vote, and in large numbers.
As legal immigrants, they can get drivers licenses and even SS numbers.
The democrats register them in large numbers and they vote. No one ever checks.
Northern Virginia has huge numbers of voting South Asian non-citizen immigrants. Democrats run all three counties so they are never challenged. It is one of the prime reasons why Virginia has gone from a solid red to a solid blue state in just 15 years.
They should not be here. So, since they are, they deserve to be exploited to the full extent of the law. If they dont like it, they can go home. They should go home in either case.
Thanks zeestephen.

In the 90’s my rate was $50 - 75 / hr in the Bay Area, CA.
No bet is necessary as it is fact.
There have been breakups of their rings in certain areas I am aware of. How prevalent the problem is I have no precise numbers but it is prevalent as it can be seen to be widespread.
In the 1930s the FDR Administration was pressured to turn off all immigration for a time to let American society get a breather and absorb what had already come into the USA.
We need a similar moratorium now.
Smart people from India are coming here for one reason. Money.’
But with money comes opportunities for power. They are entering the political ranks.
Nothing against them but we are now in an era of America First and we need to let Americans have first claims on high paying jobs and not foreigners.
BIG HINT about why "liberal Tech Thugs" donate the big bucks to corrupt democrats...
Democrats offer Tech Thugs all the CHEAP LABOR they want... while shafting American workers.
Democrats offer Tech Thugs all the CHEAP LABOR they want... while shafting American workers - it’s why they donate the big money to democrat thugs.
Yup. I've seen it happen.
Re: Contract rate of $22 an hour to create artificial shortage of USA workers.
That’s good information.
I began to study the H-1B issue in 2005, when Bush and McCain were trying to stuff Amnesty down our throats. Insider details like yours are NEVER published in the mainstream press.
On top of that, Congressional statutes, Executive Orders, agency regulations, investigations, data collection, and judicial decisions that apply to H-1B are spread hither and thither across every layer of the federal government, so almost no one has a comprehensive understanding of the issue.
Trump has made a couple helpful tweaks to the general issue of foreign work visas, but frankly, not much has changed.
We still have around 1.5 million “temporary” foreign workers in the USA, plus at least 1 million more immigrants who have work permits while their court cases are being adjudicated.
