OMGosh! I have NOT watched one second of either funeral so I missed Cindy McCain’s dress, LOL. I will assume that Mrs. McCain is advertising the fact that she is 20 years younger than the old coot and available?

Who dressed these people?

Thanks for the heads up, LOL!

I saw that too, but I got the feeling that Graham might be the only guy up there with true feelings for the old goat.

She could have viably run in 2012. She caved and dropped out before the first primary. Instead of standing up to the ethics probes, she stepped aside to cash in out side the constraints of government office.

Total BS ignorant of the facts. She was being bankrupted by nuisance suits. Easy to say she could stand up to them. Ask General Flynn what it costs to fight such charges against foes with unlimited resources.

Palin could have climbed the political ladder in a measured way building a resume rather than being thrust on to the national stage before she was ready. And the McCain campaign restricted how she was used and shackled her political instincts.

The suits, by and large, would have been covered by the state. Flynn's problems were outside of his official duties.

Palin could have climbed the political ladder in a measured way building a resume rather than being thrust on to the national stage before she was ready. And the McCain campaign restricted how she was used and shackled her political instincts.

Sure she could have. And she could have said no to McCain and done just that. But McCain and Palin were using each other. He was using her to shore up the base, have a female to offset Obama and a fresh face to add some excitement to his campaign. She agreed to join him when she could have said no and was using him to catapult her own exposure and $$$ to expose herself to the masses. Neither had clean hands when it came to using each other.

You’d have to ask her.

Legal Bills Swayed Palin, Official Says

Lt. Gov. Sean Parnell of Alaska said Sunday that Gov. Sarah Palin’s decision to resign was largely prompted by the personal legal costs of the ethics investigations against her.

Ms. Palin announced on Friday that she would quit her job near the end of the month and turn the reins of state government over to Mr. Parnell, who like the governor is a Republican.

At the news conference, Ms. Palin cited numerous reasons for quitting, including more than $500,000 in legal fees that she and her husband, Todd, have incurred because of 15 ethics complaints filed against her during her two and a half years as governor. She said all of the complaints had been dismissed, but she still had to pay lawyers to defend her.

abomination of desolation? God called homosexuality an abomination and gay marriage does make for barrenness, sterility in a sense, which is one of the definitions of desolation.
