In gentler, bygone times, the two would have fought a pistol duel.

And last I checked, there is for all practical purposes no Republican running. Thanks Libloather.

I'm telling you folks, AOC is not going to win.

That's been my mantra since she got in. IMO, she's like a meteor, streaking across the sky and causing some people to say "Oooh!", then flaring out.

Crowley has 20 years in Congress and the DNC doesn't want to lose that seniority nor he its perks. He will get under-the-table help from the few remaining sane Democrats.

I'm, looking forward to a Sanders-like "stolen election" conniption from the Cortez crowd post-election.

Charlie Crist tried this, and Rubio handed him his ass.

I guess there is no sore loser law in NY?

Because the primary turnout was only around 12% of democrats in the district? She won the primary with something like 8% of the registered democrats in her district voting for her. I think it will depend on who shows up to vote in November.

Is there a Republican running who might benefit from a split vote?

Operation chaos, let’s fund a third party campaign ad on behalf of Crowley. Even better, let’s make it an attack ad.
