Most Republicans are joined at the hip with the Rats on illegal immigration. They want their cheap labor.

Political connections aside, I hope they took a hard look into this farm’s hiring practices to see whether they were violating the law.

The farm owners say that they use-verify, and that the murderer checked out legal.

So what, I lived in a county run by Barack Husain Obama.
To: jimtorr
Gee. A government-created database, what could possibly go wrong?

The farm owners lied. They did not use E-Verify and never have. There is no confirmation that the SSN he used wasn’t provided by the employer. Stay tuned.

Old news. They retracted that within 24 hours

If the e-verify system is broken then lets fix it, but I'm not willing to take the word of a rich politically connected farmer that it is.
Too many elites benefiting from cheap labor.

They’re trying to blame Republicans for a murderer liberals let in, protected and continue to abet by blaming everyone but the murderer.

Of course, this has to be nation wide, before more tragedies occur. That, and the fact that we need rule of law.

I won’t disagree, but THIS farm needs a thorough examination right away.

I hope they took a hard look into this farms hiring practices to see whether they were violating the law. It is my understanding that they tried to vette their laborers, but this guy had stolen ID, so he came back clean. Most don't make even a token effort. For day laborers, it is pretty typical for them to go a gathering spot and just load up as many as they need.
