Ellis made her break with That Guy With the Glasses when feminists complained that there were too many male reviewers and the host wasn’t doing a good job on reviewing movies and films for girls. So the host put out a casting call for female reviewers for nostalgic girl shows.
She got the gig then complained about doing films on girly things. She eventually drifted away from her format and her quality dropped till she left the site.
TGWTG/Channel Awesome is now a shell of it’s former self as they got mired down in poor management and SJW styled infighting between the reviewers.
