Local election, maybe. Back in the 80s I worked as Data Processing Director for a Democratic Clerk of Courts/County Comptroller who was a great guy and very loyal to the people who worked for him. He retired and was replaced by a Republican. The Republican was a real jerk and didn’t care about anyone but himself, and I resigned right away.
Depends on the Democrat, and the Republican he/she is running against.
I would vote for a Joe Manchin or Tusli Gabbard before I would for the likes of Flake and He who Shall Not Be Named.

For example, Boston, New York, Detroit, Chicago,St Louis,Kansas City...etc....etc...!
All on their way to becoming Venezuela clones.
I am a democrat who now registers as an Indy.
I have been in several democrat campaigns over the decades and will never, ever vote for the Marxist and Maoists who are now running the DNC.
And don’t tell me I don’t know Communism. 30 years of study of Russia, the USSR and successor states says I do.
I vote for Colorado Democrat governor John Hickenlooper (aka Chickenpooper).
He, like the Republican governor before him, Bill Owens, is all about business and a free environment to prosper. Of course, Hick is a softy and couldn’t even execute a deathrow inmate, but Hick has been great for the Colorado economy.
The Republican candidate that ran against Hick was Dan Maes, who is a Chicago liberal put up by the idiotic Colorado eGOP. Maes was corrupt and was in it for himself like the rest of the Colorado eGOP.
BTW, the Colorado eGOP is still against Trump. They publicly state their resentment for him.
There was a time that I might have in todays world given the America/white people haters that now inundate the demoncrat party .. not a chance
American’s don’t vote democrat we are for freedom not plantations.
Probably not. I would be tempted to, if one were running against some complete piece of excrement like McCain or Flakey, but I don’t think I could get myself to “pull the lever”.
I intend to vote for the ‘Rat over Geo. P Bush come this November.
Don’t equate party to political stance. Just like the GOP, it depends upon the democrat. Just because he/she may be a democrat, doesn’t mean he/she is a liberal with socialist ideas. Need to be realistic here. I don’t vote for a party. I vote for an ideology. If there are democrats in congress that are conservative, they get my support. We have liberals in the GOP that are not going to get my support. And I will argue with them if they want it. It’s a two way street.

He later switched parties.
Doubtful, but never say never. Could cause problems.
I spent the first twenty years of my adult life defending this Nation against Marxist Socialism, I'm not about to vote for it.
I'm sure somewhere there is an identical Democrat article asking if they would vote for a Republican. With the same reaction.
If they ever get in power again you will forced to or loaded on a train to the gas chambers.
I did about 40 years ago. I hope you all will forgive my youthful indiscretion.
