Just throwing this out there every chance I get for those that are reading and cheating…….not saying this poster is one, but I don’t know where else to put this very important request. I just pick a comment and post on it. Yes, I am begging. I can’t afford much but anything will help. I want FR to stay alive. Seriously, where else can one get instant info and comments that really help understand the stories. Everyone has a point to make. Again, we need FR. Liberals (”Progressives”) WANT blacks to feel hopeless so they won’t advance or improve their situation, so they remain dependent on the Democratic Party and therefore bound to it. Like slaves.
The left regards blacks as property. Their property. And black conservative are viewed as stolen property.
They need to know Ben Carson’s story, and Clarence Thomas’s. They need to be expose to Candace Owens, Lawrence Jones, and others.
If we can get a third of them, Democrats will be consigned to permanent minority status.

There is not so much as one iota of “crap” in that essay.
What? Are you being sarcastic? I hope so. It’s the most logic-filled essay I’ve probably ever seen. This is not talking down to people. It’s talking up to people, showing them respect, and anticipating their intelligence. Your comments....if they are not sarcasm....suggest minorities deserve to live with low expectations.....which is one of the problems in our society we are trying to undo.
Even if it is patronizing or condescending, it speaks the truth. Every poverty program we’ve tried since the beginning with the Great Society has failed miserably. You know what they say about the definition of insanity-—trying the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.

I am stating quite clearly that black youth in the the ghettos are fully capable of a better life if they dump the BS they’ve been spoonfed for all their lives.
It’ll take other black folks to carry a cogent message, and they’ll have to live it too. And really, the internet is not all that wonderful a place to do it. Work doesn’t consist of sitting in front of a bulletin board, virtue signaling. That’s like the “freeper” equivalent of the “social justice warrior.”
