That’s exactly what I thought.

Trump backed candidates were 5-0 last night. For a Never Trumpet like yourself, I guess all is lost.

” stretching out the “voting” by two recounts to finally “win” by all of 133 votes”

They’ve been doing that forever. I’ve been looking for an article I read back during the Reagan administration, in which a demonrat “operative” boasted that if he could just get his hands on the ballots, he could recount their way to victory.

We really need to put a stop to that. When the demonrats grab the ballot boxes and head for a back room, we must stop them.

Well, the reason he won is because Donald came in and did nothing short of a Braden Holtby save.

"No doubt, plus the media isn't admitting that Dems outspent GOP 3-1."

FWIW, the reports I've seen are that it was just the opposite, and that the GOP overspent Democrats by a wide margin in the district.

I don't know if that was the reason, or if Balderson was a lousy candidate, or the party organization was asleep at the wheel, or if there was the usual Dem voter fraud.

I just have the sense that something is terribly wrong that the Republican candidate in a solid red district barely eked out a victory in the midst of a booming economy, all other issues put aside.

Especially when the party of Pelosi and Waters have absolutely nothing to run on.

I certainly don't see Trump as the problem.

I’m on the same page as you Jay. Running a STOOPID campaign. I would also argue that the GOPe is running a terrible ground game strategy; which is basically nothing.

“Balderson needs to remember that HE OWES PRESIDENT TRUMP.”

oh, he’ll remember ... he’s gotta do this again in two months ...

Trump won’t make it easy for the Democrats to cheat. Republicans always made it easy for Democrats to cheat. Trump shines the spotlight on those roaches and makes them squirm.

or if Balderson was a lousy candidate

Could be, his greasy hairdo wasn't very impressive.

“He could learn many things from the President. I watched him at the rally. He seemed dull, inexperienced and simply a speech reader. He needs to learn how to talk to the people, not just read to them.”

sadly enough not all 465 House congressmen are charismatic ... too many are just plodders, unlike most Senators who can put on a somewhat decent show ... let’s face it, Senators as a rule are head and shoulders above House congressmen ... Except for a tiny handful of House Congressmen like the soon-to-retire Trey Gowdy, House congressmen are neither used to, nor practiced at, speaking live to national audiences ... the other problem ALL GOP Senators and Congressmen have is that Trump is an impossible act to follow, so they have to be on their A+ game (if they have one) to not be totally overshadowed ...

“I thought the same when listening to Balderson last night ... and Balderson is such a lackluster candidate. The opposite of POTUS.”

almost EVERYONE is lackluster side-by-side with President Trump ... it’s the main reason Trump blew out so many of the weak sisters early in the primary debates ... but, yeah, Balderson is a typical neophyte candidate, with no live, national TV exposure and therefore VERY, VERY unpracticed at it ...

many republicans were on hard earned vacations. In November this win will be a huge victory. The psychological victory here is enormous, WE ARE GOING TO HOLD THE HOUSE!! We pick up at least 3 seats in the Senate and as high as 9 when Trump quits campaigning. We have the DAZIs on the run ( Democrat socialists) . This Nation is being saved before our eyes!!

I agree, it’s a psychological victory for now. Well maybe victory. My guess is when they count the ballots that need to be counted, the victory will hold. But it could swing. Has happened before. But in reality, it should have never, ever been that close in that district. And while some of it is in Franklin County, the portions it represents should be red, not purple or blue. Those are professionals who work hard. Delaware County used to be 80-20 red vs blue. It was a hell of a lot closer that way.

Correct except the last part - Sessions didn’t fail...

I agree. His aim was to stab Trump in the back and do everything he could to advance the aim of the seditious bastards who are trying to get Trump out of office. Hard to say he hasn’t succeeded in that.
