Zero chance of a "hot" Second American Civil war started by the right. Absolutely zero.

For folks who have indisputably the highest quality of life in the history of man, there are virtually none who would risk their own life or that of their family if Trump was impeached and removed from office.

The disconnected morality of this 50% makes them very different from those of the revolutionary war or even WWII.

The very few who might respond in force would quickly be subdued by the far better armed police, national guard, or even the military if it came down to it (it would never reach the level that the local police couldn't handle).

Regardless of your personal arsenal, we are no match for dozens or hundreds of body armored, MRAP driving, FLIR equipped SWAT teams, or armed helicopters, drones or manned aircraft that have the capability of obliterating you from distances even your .50 cal Barrett can't reach.

You're right of course. Not only could we not win against our own military; the chances of us being willing to fight them would be slim to none. Most of us wouldn't openly fight against our local PD's.

I think, if it actually came down to a shooting civil war with the left, it would be stealthy. Not like Red Dawn but maybe not so different in some ways. Let's hope it doesn't come down to it and we simply deport all leftists as refugees to any country that will take them. I bet they openly fight our military at that point. :D

Another big difference between the first civil war and any we might have now is the first one happened in slow motion by todays standards. They didn't have radios; just horseback riders to deliver the message. I don't think they even had the telegraph back then. The point is they had time to organize and get into groups among other things. We wouldn't have that kind of time.

I’ve read that a large part of personality is inherited. Add to that the fact that many white babies adopted in the past thirty years came from the heartland, meaning they are the opposite of “Metrosexual” biologically. Plus, here’s something many people don’t realize: many parts of this country are diverse in ways people don’t realize. After the last Presidential election, I carefully analyzed the voting patterns of specific zip codes. Did you know that about 30% of the Upper East Side of Manhattan voted for Trump? At least 30% of Beverly Hills, California, voted for Trump, as well. So, who knows who besides his mother had some influence over Rosie O’Donnell’s son. He may love his mother very much, yet recognize that, when it comes to politics, she’s nuts.
