I’m a Straight, White Southern Male. I do not owe anybody any kind of apology for that. I have just as much right to be proud of who I am as anybody else has to be proud of their identity. Discrimination against me or hate spewed against me is no more morally acceptable than if it were directed against anybody else. I’m perfectly happy to live and let live. If you don’t bother me, I won’t bother you. Deal?
Most rational people could accept all of the above with no problem. The Left in this country particularly since the start of the PC movement in the late 80s absolutely CAN NOT accept that. They have an overwhelming compulsive need to spew hatred towards me, to insult me, to denigrate my ethnic background, me region and its culture, my gender etc etc. It would be completely unacceptable if I were to do that toward anybody else but somehow in their minds, its just fine to do that to me and everyone like me AND I’m supposed to don sack cloth and ashes and bet forgiveness as others treat me with nothing but contempt.
Well eff you. No. I reject the Left and everything it stands for. They are bigoted, idiotic, massively hypocritical hatemongers. I will continue to take justified pride in my culture and heritage just like anybody else would. While doing so I will vote against the Left at every turn. Far from any kind of apology from me, all they will get will be the middle finger. I don’t care if they say mean things about me. I’ll dish it right back to them in equal measure. I will never accept their BS and if they have a temper tantrum in response, I will enjoy it.
