I think shock jocks take getting fired as a badge of honor. It usually leads to more lucrative jobs in bigger markets. That's how Howard Stern got where he is.

I'm more surprised that terrestrial radio is still a thing. I basically stream everything these days and would never listen to a "morning zoo" or whatever they call that type of programming these days. I got bored with Howard Stern over 20 years ago.

I believe what they said was a little over the top.
