Trump has failed us. He is losing me and millions of Americans. When the obvious to remove corruption is to declassify these documents and is beginning to look like gross negligence.

I suspect Obama’s name is redacted in the doc.

*************

Whether it specifically is or not, I am convinced this is the nexus that the Deep State is working so hard to conceal.
They are willing to risk all to protect him

Obama was behind it all. They cannot allow something that politically devastating to get out. So they are circling the wagons and fight to the death.

This mess is dragging the country down. Its the biggest scandal, bar none, of corruption, subversion and stonewalling in U.S. history.

Our law enforcement and intelligence agencies are caught up in this morass. Our legal system is suffering a crisis of confidence. This crap has gone on too long. Time to fix it and put country ahead of politics. Just my humble opinion.

Good argument. In the early 90s there was momentum to impeach and remove Clinton, but the Republicans played politics with it until he solidified and hemmed in his base - of course they then put Dole up as their candidate as well.

“I’m sorry this is insane. He won’t fire Rosenweasel now this. It stinks like yesterday’s diapers. There is something Big here we don’t know”

Either the declassification of documents is so earth shattering(republic ending) that he doesn’t want to go down that road or the very real possibility that he’s under the gun. Neither would be surprising.

If things are “fixed too early, then the core of the cancer will remain in place. An early fix is no fix. The rot is truly extensive and involves very many entrenched and highly placed blackguards. A too early attack just might backfire in the immediate term. The drip drip drip is getting the citizenry accustomed to the idea that there really is an extensive conspiracy and is identifying more and more of the villains to the people. I am waiting for September.

Well, we can take heart here that Trump is in fact up to something. He’s got a plan or he’d release the damn stuff with this request.

I have to back heights, here.

It’s rare to have as strong an ally as Nunes has been — and he’s taken a lot of arrows from all directions.

Trump should at least take Nunes aside and explain where he’s going with this if he truly has a plan.

Sometimes it seems he doesn’t...

It allows him to run against the deep state in 18 and possibly 20. He will play the declassification card but not until after 2020 I suspect. The DOJ/FBI/CIA are stupidly in full coverup mode and each day they are destroying their agencies in the eyes of the American people and they could care less as long as they retain their jobs and power to prey on the people.

And then the Democrats and their allies in the media will say it was all timed just to gain advantage in the elections. Trust me, they will have a field day with this. And then every Republican running for office will be forced to spend their time defending Trump’s firings and removals. Every key member of the administration will be besieged by a frantic media. It would be a political debacle of the first order.

It will take some time to declassify all these documents and/or retain any necessary redactions. He has time right now to get that process underway and to start thinking about “reorganizing” the DOJ, FBI and intelligence agencies. You can’t clean house unless you know how to back fill personnel and restructure the agencies. Its a lot more complicated than most people are willing to acknowledge.

Make no mistake. It’s not revenge he’s after. It’s a reckoning.

He will be accused of using the IC and the information released will be treated as if “tainted.” I believe Trump needs the support of We The People. I believe we need to hound our congress critters.
Current Scenario: many in the public are just watching, the IC asks Trump to release content. Result is the false accusation that Trump is directing the course of the FISA trial to his benefit.

Needed Scenario: The public is known to be angry and demanding action from Congress. The IC can’t force the FBI to comply and that committee turns to Trump and asks for help. Trump releases info. Result is that We The People employed our representatives to Tell Trump what we want done.

We can contact the Whitehouse and tell him, we can tweet storm, we can call or email - but he needs to be seen as responding to the will of the people. The #walkaway movement, the midterm elections, the public’s correct response to the FBI content relies upon Trump being known to respond to the will of the public, not driving the public. That’s why I posted the following thread with contact information, asking people to start HOUNDING CONGRESS AND THE WHITE HOUSE until we get what we want.

They will say that but it will avail them nothing. These things happen every election and this one will be the biggest one to date. Trump can smile when they scream and say, “Yes, indeed. That is when Mueller had timed his own bombshell but it fizzled.”

It allows him to run against the deep state in 18 and possibly 20.

Trump can run against the Deep State by releasing the docs and revealing in the docs why the Deep State should be defeated.

He will play the declassification card but not until after 2020 I suspect.

Please, no!

maybe waiting on OIG Horowitz fisa report..

on another note from the article
“The documents also revealed that on four occasions, the FBI told the FISC that it “did not believe” former British spy Christopher Steele was the direct source for a Yahoo News article implicating Page in Russian collusion, newly released documents reveal”

are they saying the FBI did not contact the writer of the article to find out the source? malfeasance or worse IMO maybe they knew it was Steele and didn’t want to confirm it-obstruction? failure to get and report exculpatory evidence? its tough to say who are the worse clowns, CIA, DOJ or FIB?

Depends, if it is petty, yes, it always does

But genuine law breaking though years of investigation when the investigation concludes in September......

Sure the media will say it was political (it is, the whole Russia nonsense is political because a certain politician thought she had this all in the bag and has to get her revenge) but will people care enough to vote for Democrats?

I doubt it

Just as long as people believe the Democrats are behind it, and it seems that way right now, I don’t think it will back fire.

The personal smears always back fire right before an election, like 4 days before and it is release that a candidate had relations with underaged women 30 years ago. Which has nothing to do with any issues today, they don’t usually work. Unless you are Roy Moore and you state on Hannity that it could be true....

He can't drain that swamp until Mueller runs out of gas. Firing people will give dems and half the Repubs just the excuse they need to impeach.

After Mueller fails, then things will move quickly.
