Glioblastoma is a death sentence. 5 year survival rate from diagnosis is under 5% given McCain’s age. There has been progress in the treatment of Glioblastoma. McCain won’t make it to two years, just a few more months at best.

Most of time the survival is a year or so if you’re lucky. Oftentimes, much less.
Surviving more than one year with gioblastoma is not very common. However, there are some new treatments that can can extend quite bit, but there is no cure.
