Our state, along with other liberal, left leaning states, (while Moonbeam Brown was governor the first awful time,) legalized the mob rule of "public servants" (aka "parasites") in far too many situations.

There is far too little regulation of "labor relations" in state and local governments. Union goons are directly lobbying and corrupting county supervisors and city council members with telephone solicitors, sneaky "in-kind" and gross cash contributions.

Up to now forced contributions have been sucked from employees paychecks to grease the skids like crazy for the Demonicrat Party causes and mostly working against the will of the governed!!!

The Deep State Inmates Have Been Running The Asylum far too long at all levels of our Multi-level government!!!

Far too many elected reps have turned into neutered parasites going along to get along and giving up their core principles due to pressure from the manipulative media!!!

I disagree somewhat. I think the AFGE serves a valuable purpose. They have designated large swaths of civil service jobs that should be converted to contract employment. If the union is so convinced that it gives the taxpayer the best bang for the buck, let them compete for contracts in the open market against non-union contractors.

If I’m not mistaken, back in the day President Reagan busted unions when he fired a bunch of control tower folks for going out on strike. And, he won. The result was a weakening of unions throughout the nation.

It is a dysfunctional relationship. No one is representing the taxpayer at the bargaining table. The govt officials are supposed to be, but they are being paid by the unions. So the taxpayer is not even in the equation.

Imagine factory managers negotiating with a union and the union is paying them. That factory will not be around for long.
