My problem with this event is that “the police version” is that the victim “was exhibiting the characteristics of an armed person” and, because there is a right to be armed in this country, that isn’t a justification to search him, let alone to murder him.
Before anyone chimes in and says he was acting “suspiciously”, let me ask how many people would remain perfectly calm and collected if they happened to believe both that police shoot innocent people of their type, and, they happened to know that even though whatever they were doing at the time was legal, that people were often shot to death doing that same thing.

There is not one police office on the planet who would not have shot that thug who was a few seconds away from drawing the gun that he had on him. This is one of the most clear videos of when it is necessary for a police officer to use deadly force.
