Uh-huh. And there are reports that this sleaze ball had sn overdue library book back in the 80s
Note the propagandistic phrasing. It sounds like he bought 10s pf thousands in baseball tickets.
Bookman, the Library Cop will get him!
Is this all the Democrats’ multi-million-dollar opposition-research team could come up with?
If so, Brett Kavanaugh should be nominated for sainthood as well as to the Supreme Court.
Sdchmoozing the GOP establishment in Wa.D.C. for years??? Did his SCOTUS campaign begin years ago??
Yep. $1,666.66/month, over ten years. But put that way, it doesnt have any shock value. Especially if he paid it back, on time. BUT $200,000 IN DEBT!! (Over 10 years)......the Lefty Low Info Voters will be VERY UPSET!!

Interesting. I carry about that in monthly expenses on my credit card as I use it to pay for everything. I also pay it off every month. So I guess I’m $200K in debt by the definition of these hack writers at the Hill.
So is it closer to 60 or 200?
Sorry, fanboys, but I have to add this poor judgment to what I already know about him morally, that he lied to protect the Clinton admin from having to deal with a murder case, making sure Foster was considered a suicide. Knowing that Foster definitely didnt off himself in the park, it means there were others involved in Fosters death, obviously (dead men dont drive well), and Kavenaugh was eager to cover the suspicion right up.
So as good as he looks on paper to you, and sweet and homey as his speech was, he just MIGHT have some serious moral failings when you start to wonder.
Of course anyone should be able to use credit cards to buy sports tickets. I also do. But what tickets I purchase, at the end when the cc bill comes, I pay it in full. And Im not a super smart judge. I dont run up hundreds of thousands in debt over it. Not a man who follows sober decision making. He is a man moved by selfish interests, and Im not happy with him as a choice.
He did it for the airline points. Smart thinking.
Just a clarification....he didnt pay it back?
He also owns a $1.3 million home in MD.
[...amassed tens of thousands of dollars in credit card debt in part by purchasing baseball tickets to Washington Nationals games]
[Kavanaugh has reported having up to $200,000 in credit card debt during the past 10 years...]
[In 2006.....he reported having between $60,000 to $200,000 in debt.]
[By Emily Birnbaum]
Emily (and probably Her Editors) spent some time writing/revising this screed to try to slant the reader towards believing that the maximum amount was squandered by this "Wastrel" Supreme Court nominee.
Emily and The Hill are clearly doing their very, very best to be "objective" Presstitutes!
Think of all the free miles he has on his credit cards!
Low by normal standards, for a guy in the professional classes.
Expected net worth is 10 times your salary divided by your age. That’s (211,00 * 10 ) / 53, about $400K. He apparently has less than 50K in financial assets.
He also taped a Washington Nationals baseball game without the expressed written consent of the Commissioner of Baseball.
I dont know, how long did he carry the debt? Maybe its a nothing burger if he carried it for 2 months.
