And the accused molester had been team doctor since the 1970’s. Jordan was assistant coach for a few years in the 1990’s. If the doctor was so notorious for his molestations, why was it abided for 20 years? Why didn’t the college age adult athletes fail to report it to the POLICE?

Turns out the ONLY pol in ‘modern times’ with any scruples is/was Bob Dole, who upon being selected the Presidential candidate, resigned his Senate seat so he ‘could properly run his campaign’ and the home people can be properly represented in the US Senate.
The resigning present seat while seeking higher office should be mandatory(once officially the nominee) inasmuch as, if nothing else, YOU are showing TRUE CONFIDENCE in YOUR own quest to move up the ladder.

Jordan went to OSU in 86 after graduating from college in 85 in Wisconsin. He wasn’t an OSU insider, and he was a grad assistant is what it sounds like.
I’ve heard in one place that he left in 88, so if that is true, he never would have been at the decision making level in the Division I coaching office at OSU.
This from an article: “Jordan returned home to Ohio and — while working as a coach — earned a master’s degree in education at Ohio State and later a law degree from Capital University in Columbus before launching his political career in 1994 when he was elected to the Ohio General Assembly.”
He won the NCAA in 85 and 86 and then went to OSU for a Masters in Education and to Columbus Ohio, Columbia University School of Law.
Then he ran for state representative.
So, in a 6 year span he earned a masters degree, a law degree, and he ran for office.
Doesn’t sound like he was a full time coach.
