The Democratic Socialist Party thinks Bernie is too right-wing. Seriously.
That's how far Left the party's ideology has slid in just a short time. Or maybe it's been that ideology all along. Their intent was always hidden. Now with the internet, their nefarious intentions are seeing the light of day.
I always thought DNC chair Perez was shifty-eyed and double talker. A radical Marxist trying to mainstream that communist ideology with subtle nuances. Having that Muslim sidekick in the co-pilot's seat at the DNC didn't instill any confidence that they were heading in any direction but hard Left.
I wondered how long it would take them to move the party into the socialist Marxist communist end of the political spectrum.
Not long at all, as it turns out.

The Democratic Socialists of America claims to be the largest socialist organization in the United States, comparing themselves to the smaller socialist organization, the Communist Party. Nice company they keep. With Perez and others welcoming them with open arms, they now own it. Actions have consequences.

She worked hard, she ran a stealth campaign by walking her district, meeting people, and no doubt wearing out a ton of shoes in the process. She comes across as hardworking and earnest. America loves an underdog.
I don’t think it is the socialism so much as it is her work ethic which must have come as a genuinely nice surprise in a politician.
But of course, that is not what Perez is going to see. He is only going to see her race and her socialism.
