But they never miss my can of shaving cream or my deodorant over 3.5 ounces.
An el cheapo .22 revolver loaded with shot shells works as well, probably costs a great deal less, and has less recoil.
I would expect the Judge to kick like a mule (caveat...I have never handled/shot one).
Why were “TSA pistols” in luggages?
Perhaps “TSA: Pistols”
would have been better.
Strip the gun into two parts and mail it home in two separate packages. Once you break it down it is no longer a firearm, it’s parts and not illegal to mail in the regular postal service.
You only need a dealer if the gun is functional. A frame without a cylinder, or a receiver without a barrel is parts. A pistol without a magazine IS still a gun, it is just considered unloaded. You could place a single round in the chamber and fire it.
We were arguably safer in 1965 when anyone could carry a firearm on a plane.
Ppl who make mistakes like this should be heavily scrutinized for owning guns. Idiots. Flame on!

It would be an excellent reform in the law, if functionality was required. But I do not believe it is.

Everyone makes mistakes. No one is perfect. Some people think they are perfect, but it usually catches up with them over time.
I make mistakes all the time.
The only people who do not make mistakes are those that do nothing. That is the biggest mistake of all.
