Making “Honda Dreams” with the HD logo on it could make a Great hit in China, Europe and poorer nations...Branding is important to make money...10%-20% premiums are easy...Look at Rolex..lol..I have a friend that has one and my Timex keeps better time....
I once beat a VRod in a quarter mile impromptu race...with my trike.
Boy was he ever pissed.
Harley “Dreams”...using proven Honda parts.....

Too funny! Harley has been going downhill for a looooooong while and if true, this move shows why...
The UK Daily Mail had an article on this today. The graphic they published showed 2017 sales of about 150,000 in the US (down ~15,000 from 2016) and less than 10,000 in all of the EU. A small increase in an already low-volume market doesn't mean much at all. Just natural year-to-year fluctuation, IMO.
Harley’s main problem right is two fold..
1). Millenials don’t like motorcycles because it requires them to be outside and think and
2) Harley’s quality is going down hill again.
But still a growing market, however slowly, as opposed to a declining market in the U.S. Harley-Davidson already sells 40% of their bikes overseas. Those are their growing markets, and if they need to manufacture overseas to avoid tariffs that cost them business then it's a no-brainer. They're going to make them overseas.
Scratch Kansas City. They're already in the process of closing that down. Announced it a couple of months ago.
