One set of judges that hasn’t been mentioned yet are bankruptcy judges. That is a huge issue. Lots of people may be able to reopen their BK cases.

Federal magistrate judges are also a problem. They are currently selected by the US District Court Judges. Those magistrates no longer have authority.

This would give Trump a huge opportunity to reshape the federal judiciary.

Even if this is true, Trump will never fire a judge. He could be the most communists judge in America and Trump would not do it.

The judges are not in the category of the regular federal judges in the judiciary. The ruling applies to judges in the executive regulatory agencies. Another area where we have such judges is in the immigration procedures involving illegals, requests for asylum, violations of visas, and perjury as to answers on visa, citizenship, and other immigration processes.

I wonder if this affects FISA court judges who I understand are appointed the the Chief Justice of SCOTUS?

As I read it, and it’s kinda late here, this applies to Administrative Law Judges, not federal court judges.
