My wife and I wont watch these, any more. We saw Rogue, but that will be it.
PC is CR@P.
Disney wants to build a Westworld for Star Wars fans

“Of course, its not going to be cheap, either: that same early survey floated a cost of around $1,000 per guest for a 2-night stay.”
I love it when a company takes a successful product and tries to change it. Star Wars may have been predictable, but it worked and was a cash cow. You know how easy it would have been to take ideas from Clint Eastwood’s man with no name movies and turn them into a Boba Fett series.
Warner Brothers and Zack Snyder did a pretty good job of destroying their DC franchise.
This is a simple truism.
If you have money on the line and you turn to a social justice warrior for advice on what to do with that money, you deserve to lose every single penny you’re surely going to lose.
You betrayed your fans, Star Wars, now DIE.
Womp womp...
The Incredibles passed Han Solo at in total box office in four days. Pretty amazing.
Look at Aquaman coming out in December. He looks like a Sons of Anarchy biker, instead of the blonde, orange-suit wearing hero I remember.
Note to Disney: Gender dysphoria and sex dysphoria is only interesting to you and is disgusting to us.
Make no mistake. They wont be handing a trilogy to Rian Johnson. They announced that right before The Last SJW to make people say, The movie must be incredible to cause Disney to give him that kind of commitment! Since hes well and truly hated by the base, theyll quietly let that one die, too.
Disney botched the titling, marketing, and release of “John Carter,” based on Edgar Rice Burroughs’ Mars scifi/fantasy series. The movie itself was pretty good, combining elements of the first three novels and also some unique plot twists. Given Disney’s mishandling of the property, unlikely there ever will be a sequel, which is a shame. So much 20th Century and current scifi traces to Burroughs’ works.
Maybe I’m a sadist, but I love reading these stories of how Disney screwed up by injecting PC nonsense.
That’s like saying Wonder Woman’s outfit in her movie should have been a neutral color rather than the U.S. flag design.
Guardians of the galaxy ended the Star Wars product. Fascinating to observe.
Of course true.
But they are not making movies for the real world people.
They are making movies for the idealistic people that inhabit the ideal world that they think they are building.
They think that they can educate the youth of today to become the inhabitants of their ideal world of tomorrow.
I’ve been worn out on Star Wars for about twenty years. I don’t remember the name but the one with the orange ahole did me in. I slept through most of it!!!
