Pure class from President Trump, especially considering what Bourdain said about him.

Politics aside, this guy seemed to have a lot going for him. Celebrity, multi-millionaire, he got to travel the world eating and drinking exotic foods for a living...

I'd be interested to get the backstory on his apparent suicide.

Back to politics, I liked his show and read one or two of his books. When he started holding forth on his political views, it was a turn-off for me. It wasn't that he was a liberal, but that he showed such hate for people that were conservative. That was not a good look.

Why all the hate? That's the part I don't get. Not just Bourdain but many other leftists as well. I don't waste my life hating people who I disagree with. Not sure if that hate played into his suicide but wouldn't be surprised if it did.

Life is too short to be bitter and hateful. That side of Anthony Bourdain did come out over the past year or two.

Like flicking a piece of lint from his shoulder.

About 4 years ago Bourdain came to Asheville to do a show. The local paper treated it like the second coming of Christ.
