I have a bipartisan solution for them: anyone who thinks CO2 is a problem can stop expelling it, and the rest of us can live happily ever after.

But in the past decade, the findings and predictions of climate scientists have been validated by real-world evidence: ice vanishing from poles and glaciers, sea levels rising, storms and wildfires becoming more destructive, and temperatures moving inexorably in one direction — up.

Not a single assertion in this statement is true. How can a solution be based on a total lie.

Stop all third world immigration to the West. Let the West population stabilize and decrease. The West inherently burns more fuel and the third world. Let the third world countries get their populations under control. This is very consistent with solving global warming and it is never discussed as a potential solution. I have long believed that the global warming theory is a hoax because the only solutions that are offered up are ones that advance left-wing agendas

Ask a typical person concerned about global warming if they think Congress will enact a bipartisan solution to climate change, and the response is likely to be a derisive laugh.

Damn hard to find a solution to a problem that doesn't exist, bipartisan or otherwise.

Mark Reynolds and the rest of them no the wheels we coming off the Global Warming bus. They have about five more years to cut a deal. After that, they will get nothing. Time to settle cheap.

Using my ability to predict the future, I will outline the eventual deal:

1. Incentives to adopt reduced carbon technology that will accomplish nothing that has not already been accomplished by cheap natural gas and fracking.

2. Continued subsidies to be paid for by a 5% tax on electricity and gasoline.

3. Perpetual sinecures for Global Warming scientists and activists that will be a policy rubber room, completely divorced from any real power.

The day the deal is signed, new evidence will be discovered that will demonstrate the miraculous effect of the new policy and how the World has been saved.

More squeeze from the cow’s rectum. I wonder if the morons who come up with this stuff really believe it or they’re just cynically taking advantage of subnormal hippie types to feather their own pockets at the taxpayers expense.

The funny thing is that democrats could switch from opposing fossil fuels to favoring them as quickly as they shifted on nuclear power. Equally amusing, there is a very strong conservative/nationalist case for shifting to renewable energy and eliminating oil. Imagine what would happen to the Arab world, and their funding for terrorism, if oil was a minor commodity used in specialty manufacturing instead of the center of the global economy. Democrats would freak out over the lost demand for oil if it hurt their anti-Western allies.

Blah blah blah.
Just saw an ice core reconstruction of world temperatures, and the steady decline of world temps can be seen. There are some high points (higher than current temperatures) and low points (mini ice age) but overall the greatest danger to humanity is the decrease in world temperatures accompanyied by an agricultural crash and famine. Billions will die

So fire up you barbecue and save the planet by burning some coal and driving to the beach in an SUV

I guess his message is that “The science has been resettled - and Chicken Little has been absolutely proved so right it should be a major felony to ignore her”
