Calling a single person an “ape” is an insult. Just as calling George W Bush a “chimp” was an insult.

If I called Valerie Jarrett a “dog”, am I a racist, an islamophobe or a misogynist? She is a member of all three groups, but you do not know why I called her a “dog”, therefore, I cannot be any of the three. I simply insulted her.

The news/entertainment industry is not riddled with extreme libs, anti-Trump people....it is almost 100% wild eyed libs.
That every single one of them is completely freezing Roseanne out of the industry should raise alarm bells.
As others have said, she is being made an example, a warning to others to stay in line or be ruined.
The people who are blacklisting her are well aware of the hundreds of employees and retired actors who are losing income as a result. The intent is to make everyone hate her, make the pain worse, freeze her out even from her friends.
And remind all in the industry that this could happen to them as well if they are not PC.

I never watched much of her show but I did watch Last Comic Standing in 2014. Roseanne Barr, Keenen Ivory Wayans, and Russell Peters served as the judges with JB Smoove as the host. She was a fair and good judge.
Keep in mind this woman was never a friend to our side. She was a cook, pig, and nut case. I almost suspect this whole thing was done on purpose.

I refuse to play this game of self-immolation. Those days are done. Roseanne said what she said. Whatever. Jarrett is just this side of pure evil. I shed no tears for her feelings (assuming she has any).
