Problem is time is running out on Trumps term, once he’s gone its back to businesses as usual.
Nobody’s been locked up yet, he doesn’t even control his Justice Department or FBI.
Not looking promising, the water level in the swamp remains pretty high.
Not going to get it done playing by their rules.
Would love to order the Marines to occupy DC and arrest all domestic enemies, unfortunately, I am not the President/ Commander in Chief.
As long as he gets the wall built before he leaves, ill be happy. like you said, everything will be reversed as soon as hes gone. without the wall, one of his fundamental campaign promises wont be met and hell struggle getting a 2nd term.
Yes, building the wall and overturning the Immigration Act of 1965 would be key to American survival as we know it and be a great achievement.
Remember that the Art of the Deal is quite clear that deals have to have something for all parties involved.
The biggest winner of a Korean settlement has to be China. They have a border with Korea. They did the heavy lifting of summoning Fat Rocket Man to Beijing for three days and telling him the facts of life.
The next biggest winner has to be South Korea, then the US, and the Norks almost don’t matter at all.
The biggest losers will be Iran, and Taiwan.
So whether or not we humiliate Kim over when, where, and how this meeting takes place depends on how far Trump is prepared to go with Xi.
The wild card is how important “success” is to Trump, and whether or not the fates of Mueller, Rosenstein, and even Sessions are part of the calculation. I suspect that if Trump comes home waving a piece of paper declaring “peace in our time” that Mueller and Rosenstein (at least) are soon going to be able to spend more time with their families.
The author of the beta version of the EU was prescient about many things.
You quote Hitler in context of accepting his premises and worldview.
Are you not aware of that?
You are incorrect, I do not accept his worldview or premises.
Hitler was insane, and made really bad choices, and committed grievous offenses against mankind, especially our Jewish brothers.
His premises and worldview were a product of his environment, just as all of us are influenced by our life experiences.
His view of the US in that quote is not however completely without merit, even more so today.
Communists now are allowed to operate with impunity in the West, they are devious and set the classes and the races against each other.
American blacks were moving upwards until the 1970’s, when the effects of the policy’s of the American communist party allied with the American Democratic party started to be felt.
Left wing American Jews continue to be allied with the communist (Democratic) party, but there are plenty of right wing American Jews that support Israel and Trump.
So in effect his observation about the difficulty of the US being able to hold together has been posited by many others, including many conservatives, and is a real cause for concern.
It is important to realize the historical context for everything that is currently happening, this forum should continue to support open debate and not degenerate into thought police.
Don't be so naive Dude.
I appreciate your not wanting to be seen as believing in Hitler’s ideology.
That’s a good thing and why I engaged you and let you know that this us what you’re doing.
I appreciate this response from you as well and point out that you yourself confirm your own shared beliefs: “His view of the US in that quote is not however completely without merit, even more so today.”
This statement belies your other disclaimers.
I don’t think you have overtly bad intentions, but you are seriously mixed up.
It has a record only as a criminal state and no record of good deeds for its people or people outside its borders. It is hostile, aggressive, invasive, and arming itself secretly. Its people are starving. Its leader has secretly allied himself with some of the world's worst criminal state leaders.
Should you trust even if you may verify?
