I hope President Trump is making strategic moves against Mexico. They have an election coming on 01 July. One of the candidates, whose initials are AMLO (I forget his name), is extremely popular, leftist, and full of hate for the US.

Mexico will eventually agree to pay for the wall and be happy to do so. I dont know why Trump never mentions the specific plan to make Mexico pay for the wall that was on his campaign website throughout the campaign. It was a very detailed description of how we would tax remittances to cover the cost of the wall. Even during the campaign he didnt mention it. Never understood why, nor why were not actually putting together a plan right now to do just that.
$88 million is one thing, but remittances back to Mexico are in the billions. Taxing that would really get their attention.

Sounds good. Also further cuts for countries that knowingly allow them to cross their countries should see further cuts.

If the Democrats and the Chamber of Commerce Republicans are outraged, they only have themselves to blame for their extreme neglect of immigration regulations over the years which have led to countermeasures like this.

How much does it cost to incarcerate a prisoner - $60,000 per year (or more?)
That is the amount that should be deducted for each person - as a starting point.

I fail to note ANY payment authority given to Congress via the Constitution.
At best, the cost via any trade agreements (IE: tariffs)

The bigger picture here is that countries like Mexico for instance use their people as a kind of foreign export capital to suck money out of our economy and send back to their countries in order to stay afloat. World the worlds freakin’ ATM.

Mexico was slated to get $88 million in foreign aid. We shouldn't give Mexico the time of day..

This isn’t genius. It’s just refusing to delude himself and seeing clearly where the problem lies. Since that is so utterly out of the box of conventional wisdom, however, people will eventually call him a genius. All it is is courage, a rare commodity in this age.

I have also been saying there needs to be a fee on money transfers out of the Country that go South of the Border. I doubt the Redumblicans have the stomach for that in the form of a Bill.
