Royal dingbats and overthrowing the monarchy are nothing new in England. But usually a replacement is sought; William & Mary of Orange were Dutch but it was called the Glorious Revolution. George I was German & spoke no English. The foreigners were of royal blood & that’s all that mattered.
Britons, some of them, even today refer to Queen Elizabeth II as “that German woman”. Can’t imagine she even speaks a word of Deutsch.

I was with two uber-Left women who insisted on watching the Royal Wedding as the three of us waited together for time to leave for a wedding we were attending.
They were both strongly commenting for Bishop Curry to shut up. They sometimes even shouted “Shut Up” at the TV. Even as uber-Liberals they strongly felt he was “out of place” and totally distracting from the tone and mood of what was supposed to be a Royal wedding, not his chance for 15 minutes of international political fame.
Pathetic but not much surprise. Harry is out of his frinking mind marrying her but love and lust are blind.
