Based on his drivel, I’d assume he was OIF but I’ve never heard of ANY unit having their ammo taken away (as he claimed) while going “down range”.
One of the guys I work with is a fellow vet whos about the same age as me, and we were talking about Fridays shooting. He said he doesn’t understand what’s gotten into these kids. Back in the day, if you had a problem with someone you took it out behind the school and settled it with fists. And I mentioned to him that when we were growing up we didn’t have these violent video games. We had Pac Man, Frogger, and Space Invaders. We didn’t have these violent “first person shooter” games like they have now. Nor did we have the level of violence in TV and movies either.
