The reason we have all these conflicts, is to allow our client states to test our new weapons systems. That said, I support Israel 100 percent.
Bizhev said the Israeli jets had a geographic advantage in that they fired their missiles “without entering the [Syrian] air defense area.” He told RT that “they approached at low altitudes, then bounced from behind the Golan Heights, carried out the attack, and left.”
The Pantsir-S1 “requires between three to five minutes to go operational,” Bizhev said, adding that it’s exhausting for the crew to keep the system on at all times.
Pantsir S-1 missile?
Russions mispelled “Pantsuit S-1” if they were going for the honoring of Hillary naming.
Arab SAM operators are notoriously bad at their jobs. Also, the presence of anti-radiation missiles has to be a concern. Would not surprise me if they switched off to reduce the risk.
I’d say operator error had a lot to do with it, plus the Russians may have sold a special, micky mouse version to the arabs.
Turkey has no business in NATO now, In fact, we need to leave it and/or demand the krauts plus French start paying much more.
There is a better explanation, the same as back in 2007 when those same systems also didn’t do nothing when Israel bombed that site to lots of little pieces. Russia claims those systems are immune to jamming so they will of course claim these systems were offline. But who would buy a whole bunch of advanced SAM systems to keep them switched of all the time while being at war with your neighbor? So yeah, Israel knows how to fool those systems. Israel also got an older S-300 system from Cypress and knowing their military hacking skills and intel-gathering they would know how to defeat all systems they would encounter. And no doubt, the US is helping them. so...
Big Safari says hi!
ps the S-400 is basically an updated S-300 originally named S-300PMU-3 with more marketing options as a AWACS-killer-missle that you cannot buy yet. Same thing as the the latest version of the T-72BU being renamed to T-90. I do not claim it’s junk but Russia build several radar-sites and sold Syria a lot of SAM’s and they also have their own systems out there. Even if Syrian soldiers are buffoons, why would they not warn Syria or Iran of an Israeli attack to prove their systems are worth the money since Russia uses Syria as a marketing campaign for such systems? Israel flies over them and they can do pretty much what they want. I can understand that Russia will not shoot at IDF planes, but this is bad press for them.

Because Russia is not at war with Israel and more than likely are telling the Israelis where the Iranians facilities are.

“Russian air defenses were beaten badly by Israeli forces in Syria on video here are its excuses”
But, but...Russia won the popular vote.
Putin's got no cards. Israel won't go quietly into oblivion, so threats won't work -- "if you defend yourself against genocide by Iran, we'll exterminate you." And trigger a nuclear annihilation of Russia and the world, over what? Syria? Iran? Turkey? Nice try, Vlad the Imploder. Thanks Berlin_Freeper.
Russia is a lot closer to Iran than us. If the Iranians start burning Russian flags, it could mean real trouble for them. The Iranians are not known for their stability.
However, young Iranians love the US. They love the freedom, especially the women students.
If you look at the video from the missile there are three guy standing about 80-90 feet to the left of the truck playing pocket pool. The truck might have broken down, it could be that simple. Or, they had a heads up.
Plus, they can sell upgrades to the Syrian’s. (It’s like Microsoft or Apple - you get in cheap, but they lock you in with upgrades for life).
