I was highly irritated to hear Rush claim that the FBI planted a mole in Trump’s campaign because they actually believed the Russian collusion theory.
No, the FBI planted a mole in the campaign to accomplish what spies are traditionally tasked with — obtain information to be used against Trump — campaign strategies, etc. Insurance policy.
There was a face plant in the Hillary campaign.
Upon which her handlers tossed her like a side of beef into a van.
Some “Republicans” really aren’t.
They just pretend to be to climb the ladder of power and money.
If the wind is blowing Republican, that’s what will move their career$ forward.

I think the question is did Obama plant an FBI asset in the Trump campaign.
If the FBI really believed the dossiers, wouldn't they start their investigation by doing surveillance or getting a warrant on Christopher Steele and Cody Shearer to dig out exactly who they talked to and gave them the allegations, tracing it back contact-by-contact to determine who had first-hand knowledge of the claimed events?
It appears they did none of that, but were basically told that the sources are secret and none of your business, so the FBI said okay and instead started spying on the Trump campaign.
I remember, all not too long ago, when the departing administration (Bill Clinton’s) took all the “w’s” off the typewriter and computer key boards as they left the White House.
How times change!
It could be Papadopolous. Sessions and Flynn seemed to spot him being pushy about “getting dirt on Hillary” right away when he showed up to a meeting they were having with Trump and others, but Trump Jr didn’t heed them and was later misled to meet with him anyway.
Papadopolous has UK connections or he wouldn’t have run into the Aussie Amb in London.
