‘My dad’s the mayor!’: Leaked video shows Denver official’s son cursing at officer during stop

Some time ago, Bill Walsh then coach of the SF 49s was playing cards, probably blackjack, up in Reno. Some guy next to him was upset about how he played his hand and told him so. Walsh pulled the “do you know who I am” at which point the guy knocked him out.

As The Washington Post’s Kristine Phillips wrote in March, the mayor acknowledged that he sent “inappropriate” text messages to a police officer who had been a member of his security detail in 2012. “You look sexy in all that black!” he wrote to the woman.

The city paid the officer, Leslie Branch-Wise, $75,000 as part of a settlement.

Ah, the life of a politician. They screw up and we pick up the tab. No wonder his son knew he could get away with this kind of behavior.

I had an 8th grade classmate in VERY small town who walked around with a "my dad's the Bank Manager" smirk.

30 years later, I was back in the area and ran into a former classmate. While we were catching up on people and events, she asked, "Did you hear about Bob?"

"No?"

"He's serving 25 years in Federal Pen for embezzlement. He was the manager of the town bank."

Think this punks attitude is way out of line.
However, years ago, I received a ticket from a Aurora police officer that I felt was complete BS. Went to court on it, and the judge basically said "who am I going to believe here, you, or a police officer hired by this community to enforce the law".
Aurora and their police force are sketchy ... then & now.
