I understand that Schiff is getting a separate briefing from the same people.

Don't know if the WaPo article is totally true. What they are claiming is inconsistent with what Trump tweeted about a week ago.

Two months ago Chuck Ross of The Daily Caller took a deep dive on how Stefan Halper interacted with George Papadopoulos and Carter Page. Halper was way too sketchy, and he was trying to initiate contacts with low-level Trump campaign aides

Page and Halper both could have been deep state agents inside the Trump organization. Just because the redacted docs refer to one person doesn't mean there wasn't at least one more. That makes sense from deep state's point of view. They want to run out the clock and hope the dems take over the House. If forced to do so, they could give up Page's name, knowing he was not the actual source.
