The key question:
Does the candidate side with the citizens and the rule of law?
Electing Bush League Republicans gains US (US citizens) nothing.
Who do we want in the Indiana primary?
Your point is well taken but in the House of Representatives even a Bush league Republican keeps the majority intact.
This is less concerning in the Senate but a Democrat majority in the House guarantees an impeachment for the President.
I like Blankenship. He is calm cool and collected. A steady hand for the people of West Virginia who are liquored up and pissed off about establishment republicrats like the other two. He can beat manchin easy . Manchin had a chance if he had voted with Trump but he blew it. But any time you see head lines like “ Republicans panic over Blankenship’s lead in polls” REJOICE!! those are people like that Gawd awful bitch McConnell and paul RINO. Go Blankenship!!!
Great question!
Weekly Standard:
President Donald Trump, who overwhelmingly carried the state in 2016, weighed in on Twitter Monday morning: To the great people of West Virginia we have, together, a really great chance to keep making a big difference. Problem is, Don Blankenship, currently running for Senate, cant win the General Election in your State...No way! Remember Alabama. Vote Rep. Jenkins or A.G. Morrisey!
I'd go with Braun who has a business background over the other two who are lawyers and career politicians.
I wonder who advises Trump on this stuff. Trump is stabbed in the back daily by the GOPe Rinos. Go Blankenship!!
Maybe this is Trump’s own opinion...
Braun has run a smear campaign - I have at least 3 pieces of hit mail a day from him. Some mail does not even mention Braun or his campaign, just hit pieces on the other two guys. I am voting for Rokita - a good guy from a middle class family in NW Indiana.
Massive radio ad campaign from Braun attacking “the Swamp Dwellers” at Rush’s time in Chicago.
“who do we want in the Indiana primary?”
Good question, I’ve read that Donnelly is more conservative than either of the Republicans running.
Pointing out that his two opponents voted to give Obama authority for TPP isn't a smear, its a fact...ymmv.
“Ive read that Donnelly is more conservative than either of the Republicans running.”
As for which Republican to support in the primary, none are perfect, but any of the three would be acceptable in the Senate. I would prefer the candidate with the best chance of beating Donnelly in the general, so, based on what I know about the candidates and of the Indiana electorate, I would rank them Messer #1, Rokita #2 and Braun #3.
In Ohio, vote for whoever isn’t DeWine for governor.
