As ever, the goal of the Democrats is to enable addicts and keep them dependent on government. As Thomas Sowell says, if you want more of something, subsidize it.
I like the wording. “Plan to open so-called safe injection sites”. What could go wrong? I guess the nurses union in NYC will love the job creation at probably 70k per nurse.
I’m sure no one at all will mind if it’s in their building.
There’s nothing New Yorkers care about more than their real estate. This oughtta be good.
Also, why do heroin users need the government to provide this service for illegal activity? Drinkers have a designated driver when partying. Why can’t they have one of their buddies sober with the nalaxone, which is now easily available? The unintended consequences of this are gonna be EPIC.

I have noticed a multitude of pro-safe injection site propaganda overwhelming the Google searches. I suspect this media blitz is an effort to boost the user population which lines the pockets of those exploited by the drug cartels. If more users stay alive with their habit, there is more users in the market for the sellers.
The Left is creating a huge epidemic of addiction. With that is more dependence on the government using chemistry.
Addicts need to be involuntarily institutionalized so they can dry out their addiction, get mental health treatment and spiritual healing in religious based facilities.

They have government injection sites in San Francisco already. They’re called Bay Area Rapid Transit stations. At least commuters won’t have to step over them in these centers.

The goal of liberals is to keep people drugged up and dependent. Dependent people are much less likely to fight for their freedom from an oppressive government.
