Some months back I heard Dennis Quaid and his band perform in a small auditorium.
Dennis can’t sing so well but they worked hard & put on a good show.
Toward the end of the gig Dennis stopped to talk at the audience just for a minute, and surprisingly (this was in a super lib town) he mentioned an upcoming movie in which he’d been tapped to play the starring role, that of “Ronald Reagan, the greatest President of the 20th Century!”
He got a good hand of applause out of those of us who weren’t haters, and a short while he ended the show with a shout of God Bless you all, God bless your fine city and God bless the U.S.A!
I didn’t know he and Randy were conservatives, but I’m glad to have them on our side.
