Ah, clearly theyre not sending their best, are they?
Maddie sang a very subdued ukulele version of Bear Necessities, which was a totally unique presentation of the song.
Catie stood there and sweetly sang Once Upon A Dream from Sleeping Beauty, gently swaying to the waltz.
Caleb, Cade, and Gabby similarly performed understated versions of their songs. The losers tended to do diva showstopper renditions of their songs, again.

A few years ago a very good friend went to Atlanta to audition for 'The Voice'. He's a really good singer, and a friendly saxophone rival. I told him he should lay a little Johnny Hartman on them, but no, he did the same stupid vein-popping-out pop ballad crap that everyone does. Didn't get past the first round.
Talent is irrelevant in a TV talent show. Winners should be chosen exclusively from minorities and in proper proportion each minority to each in order to encourage the talent-challenged minority kids out there to take a shot at the Liberal Lottery.
The judges were the only thing saving the drag queen last week, so it’s no surprise he/she/it was shown the back door this week. But he likes back doors, so it’s a win win.
Every loser that lost should have.
I’m happy to say that for the first time ever, my favorite contestants -— Guitar Feather Boy, Maddie, Gabby, and Katie -— are still rolling. Usually by now any singer I like is gone. Maybe someone I like takes it this year.
I agree. Blacks only make up 12% of America yet are a far higher percentage of the contestants. Clearly racism.
The first time I watched Idol was in Season 5. At that time there was an Idol website where people could post comments. A black contestant named Paris Bennett was voted off as #5. There were screams of “racism!” all over the Idol website, even though several white contestants had been voted off even earlier than Paris was; and even though, of the four winners at that time, two were black, so blacks were over-represented as winners.
Since then, it’s been the same every year. As soon as a gay or nonwhite is voted off, the screaming begins.
You can always tell that the judges are pushing the politically correct contestants to win. One year, when they opened it up for voting, every single male contestant was obviously gay. That was the year a black female, Candice Glover, won. The only reason she won is because voters had no nice-looking straight white male to vote for.
I figure the people who scream the loudest about this are probably people who only vote for gays and/or minorities and hate it when whites win. So why aren’t THEY called bigots?
Maddie Poppe wins, boyfriend 2nd.
Good choices?
See, I don’t watch.
