Commentary: Austin cares about climate change. Now it’s Congress’ turn

Unless you are government imposing a net cost on all aspects of the economy while producing nothing and (in addition to said government’s own pollution output) as a consequence it goes about forcing people to work even more, and thus consume more energy resources than they would have with less government.

So, if I understand this correctly, it is ok to pollute the planet, you just have to pay someone for the right to do it.

So, the way I see it is that companies that produce the most plant food have to pay the most $$, which is then split amongst all the taxpayers (per-capita? everyone gets an even share or what?), who then pay that money back to the companies who raised their prices to make up for the tax? Am I missing something here?
