When someone is on the job 24x7, as these people are when they are travelling with the President, they ALL “drink on the job”.

Dan Bongino, whose opinion I have come to trust, said he spent over 100 days on the road with this man when traveling overseas.

He said not only did he not drink in the way he was characterized, but the people close to the President (”VERY close”) drink in ways overseas that would make Americans embarrassed to see another American like that.

This is a hatchet job, adulteratingly pure and simple.

That is all it is.

I’m sorry but this was an absolutely stupid pick from the get-go. I have no doubt that Admiral Jackson is a fine physician and an excellent Naval officer. I highly doubt that most if not all of the allegations against him could be shown to be true. But does not have the political or administrative experience needed to run the second largest bureaucracy in government. This is not an entry level cabinet position and Jackson would have been in it way over his head. Had he been confirmed I have no doubt at all that within two years problems in the VA would be filling the news just in time for the 2020 election. The VA Secretary has to be someone with experience running a large medical administration.

Everything he was accused of was straight out of the Me Too movement. On that basis alone, I believed they were lies.

"The Senator from Montana must be exterminated. He has lived too long"

Is there a good chance that will happen to Sen. Jon Tester? He has been acting like a moderate lately. Is there an Opponent on the GOP side who can beat him?

Only when its excessive. And I dont understand the whole being promoted to General and beyond with workplace issues and Rx schenanighans, but the EXCESSIVE workplace drinking did it, for sure.

I think that if he hadn’t a family to worry about, he might have stood and fought off their accusations. But really, who needs that nonsense? I mean, he’s a doctor, not a politician.

I’d probably have stayed in the fray and worked at taking down each and every politician that lied about me. Every one of them.

But I see this more as a war, because the democrats ARE domestic enemies of the United States of America.

I think “the pill” distributed by the attacks on Adm. Jackson, after his nomination, will be very red.

Pompeo is a perfect example of why the president should never expect reasonable behavior from the Democrats (and some Republicans).

He should nominate, for every position, the person he wants regardless of their so-called "acceptability", since they'll all get the same treatment anyway.

The left is actually weakening their political leverage by opposing everything the president does.

Agree, sending the message you don’t want to even think about working for this guy, we will ruin you.

Has put fear in Trump’s lawyers.

This is all very despicable but understandable as our President is working to expose the deep state for the evil it is, they are desperate and you know what is said about a cornered RAT.

Things are going to get a whole lot worse before they get better.

We can fight with the President by working to get out the vote for the good guys, send him some HELP to Congress to fight this WAR.

Start closing access to VA hospitals in democrat states. Squeeze ‘em until they scream.

The VA is beyond repair.

Putting someone who is completely unequipped for the job is not going to help.

just shut the VA down already and give vouchers to the veterans to use local hospitals. It will save billions.

But if you insist on keeping it open to “serve” those who have served us, then make Congress use it. After all they have no health care having opted out from Obama care for themselves.

If it was exclusively for Congress, by all means put what ever democrat they want in charge. That would get rid of most of the elderly dementia patients that run this Goobermint.

For those who don’t already listen, you should check out Dan Bongino’s daily podcast. His defense of Jackson yesterday will make your blood boil over this travesty even more

Staffers on the committee were looking into charges against Jackson …………..

If the alleged charges used to disqualify Rear Adm. Ronny Jackson were applied in a qualifying process of US Representatives and US Senators, we would have a sea of empty seats in both houses of congress……….
