Unclear? BS. We all know the power was probably diverted to Mar a Lago for this upcoming weekend. That darn Trump.

And some people just can’t fathom how they and their cultures become colonized and dominated by others.

Puerto Rico sits on a major crossroads of the world.

It could be another Singapore.

The left did it.
Whitefish contractors were restoring power until Democrats complained and cancelled the contract because of alleged political connections.
Had the work continued, PR would likely have full and stable power by now.

Third world values and corruption lead to 3rd world living conditions.
This is who they are... who they'll be and why the place will always be a hellhole. The United States needs to fix them up to where they were before the hurricane - or better - then cut them lose. Puerto Rico has more in common with the idiots in Venezuela then they do with us.

The problem is that Puerto Rico is now in a death spiral, with the productive class fleeing for the mainland US. What is going to be left?

This is where Puerto Rico’s Commonwealth Status wound up being a curse.
It will too easy for the productive folks to simply up and leave for the US when things get tough there. If they were an independent country, those people would have stayed.
And for all the Boricuas who come here and whine about the US not doing enough for Puerto Rico, well they were a big cause of their problems by running away in the first place.

If we wash our hands of them we won’t have to worry about them coming here and spreading the ‘culture of corruption’... we’ll just declared them ‘illegals’ and send them back.
