Define “violent crime” as is used in both federal and state statutes. Make it clear, concise. A “burglary” is not usually classified as a violent crime unless the burglar is carrying a defined weapon (gun, knife, bat/stick, etc).
Time for Congress to get off its ass and do things right for the first time in many decades.

The only president in American history that someone wasn’t trying to remove from office was George Washington in his first term. By his second term, even Washington was being viciously attacked (e.g.Thomas Jefferson wrote editorials claiming Washington was senile).
Four presidents were not so peacefully removed from office by bullets in their bodies and another 14 presidents survived assassination attempts. That’s 40% of our presidents that somebody tried to kill or did kill. It goes with the territory but thanks for the advice on how you want people to post.

After Inauguration Day, you are correct that President Trump has been under constant, unrelenting attack to remove him from office before the constitutional end of his term.
Please. Obama had both the press and the Permanent Political Class drooling all over him. The term, ‘knee-pad press,’ didn’t materialize out of thin air.
As for the people who questioned Obama’s legitimacy, you and the press and the rest of the Obots wore yourselves out calling them/us racist and lunatics. It is precisely because you are an Obot that you can’t differentiate between that and what’s happened to Trump. It’s a blindspot as big as Jupiter.
I’d be dishonest if I didn’t note that aptitude plays a role. I never met an intelligent Obot and I doubt I ever will.
Nothing you wrote changes the fact that the United States has had 44 peaceful transitions of power from an outgoing administration to an incoming administration.

Whoever wrote this original definition down....really didn’t know what they were doing, or intended to create this screw-up intentionally. Violent crime could mean various things. Felony goes down a particular list, and there’s no discussion about felony convictions.
