“...where they plan to demand asylum..”

Demand? Really? How about just politely asking. People are genuine a-holes these days.

I was surprised to learn the Caravan progress was so slight.

I plotted the remaining trip on Google earth and believe the Caravan has something like 1,500 miles to go and the close route will apparently end in Nogales Arizona. I thought they would come to sanctuary friendly California but that would add perhaps 200 miles or so to the urbn California border.

So, given the tenuous nature of the effort, there is a long way to go and a real problem for the Mexican government. It gives Trump time to beat the hell out of the candidates for the upcoming presidential election. It gives plenty of time to organize a security force to resist the invasion.

Well, keep the well fare offices open extra hours!

That’s a joke. Government doesn’t work overtime.

Trump should be on the border to personally welcome them to America. Then escort them to the nearest landing strip, put them all on planes to be “relocated” throughout America. But instead of that, fly them all back to Guatemala or wherever they came from.

It gives plenty of time to organize a security force to resist the invasion.

That is, if the courts allow it. It appears, these days, a court can stop any action.

In the 1970s, Cuba had their boat lift. Carter set up tents, and processed them til they were all deported.

We are in no rush. Tents inside cyclone fencing, out in the middle of the desert, with summer coming up, on federally owned land where tv cameras will not be allowed, and then begin the deportation. If they return after deportation, we will have another tent waiting for them, except now it will be longer wait until deportation. They won’t like it.

I was in a court room 2 months ago. An illegal was in jail garb, had an interpreter and his lawyer. He had been in jail for almost 2 weeks and there was an ICE detainer. The judge was mulling over how long a sentence to give him. His lawyer wanted only 3 more days...then ICE would take him to deport. “Pablo” through his interpreter pleaded how he wanted to get back to Mexico asap so he could help his elderly, very sick, very frail, blind madre. Evidently he had no problem being away from her, living in a land where he did not know the language etc... until he had to go to jail. All of a sudden MX looked really good to him.

What are you going to do about this Mr. President? This can’t wait until the last minute.

I don’t see any evidence that the left isn’t going get exactly what they want.

We need citizens on the border with a war cry. “Don’t let them cross”

I would think so - I thought the same while listening to this. He suddenly “got religion” to get back to MX. Criminals will say anything to get out of jail, even if they are illegal aliens. Wouldn’t be surprised if he would ditch “his mother” (who could be dead for all we know) and return to the US illegally, only at a different location.
