ANDREW MCCABE and FBI Brass Secretly Conspired to Wage Coup Against President Trump

http://freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/3551896/posts

Mere days before Gen. Michael Flynn was sacked as national security adviser, FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe gathered more than a dozen of his top FBI disciples to plot how to ruin Flynn’s aspiring political career and manufacture evidence to derail President Donald Trump, according to FBI sources.

McCabe, the second highest ranking FBI official, emphatically declared at the invite-only gathering with raised voice: “Xxxx Flynn and then we Xxxx Trump,” according to direct sources. Many of his top lieutenants applauded and cheered such rhetoric. A scattered few did not.

This was one of several such meetings held in seclusion among key FBI leaders since Trump was elected president, FBI sources confirm. At the congregation where McCabe went off the political rails and vowed to destroy Flynn and Trump, there were as many as 16 top FBI officials, inside intelligence sources said. No lower-level agents or support personnel were present.

What an idiot. 2nd ranking FBI director and he doesn’t know you can’t keep a secret when you involve at least 15 other people. It’s pure hubris. He really thought everyone was as deeply disturbed as he was? They would all betray their country because they hated the idea of a Trump presidency? Or this kind of conspiracy was routine for the top several dozen people at FBI?

Their 2017 plan to take out Trump has gone awry.

Mueller Prepares Comey, McCabe To Testify AGAINST POTUS

Special Counsel Robert Mueller is leading one of the biggest witch hunts in American political history.

According to a new report by VOX, the witch hunt just got worse, as Mueller has notified former FBI Head James Comey and former Acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe that they should be prepared to testify against President Trump.

VOX reports:

Shortly after the appointment of special counsel Robert Mueller in May, Acting Director of the FBI Andrew McCabe told several of the highest-ranking managers of the bureau they should consider themselves possible witnesses in any investigation into whether President Donald Trump engaged in obstruction of justice, according to two senior federal law enforcement officials.

McCabe has told colleagues that he too is a potential witness in the probe of whether Trump broke the law by trying to thwart the FBI’s Russia investigation and the investigation into whether the Trump campaign colluded with the Russian government to defeat Hillary Clinton in the 2016 election.

Two senior federal law enforcement officials have told me that the new revelations illustrate why they believe the potential case against Trump is stronger than outsiders have thought.

“What you are going to have is the potential for a powerful obstruction case,” a senior law enforcement official said. “You are going to have the [former] FBI director testify, and then the acting director, the chief of staff to the FBI director, the FBI’s general counsel, and then others, one right after another. This has never been the word of Trump against what [James Comey] has had to say. This is more like the Federal Bureau of Investigation versus Donald Trump.”

And this...

Andrew McCabe “SET UP” Trump White House - STARTED The Fake News ‘Obstruction Of Justice” Charge

A new book on the media’s relationship with the Trump White House has revealed a FBI operation to specifically set up a senior member of the Trump administration in a move that eventually led to the original claims of obstruction of justice against the president.

According to the book, “Media Madness,” by Howard Kurtz, then deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe called White House chief of staff Reince Priebus shortly after the release of a fake news report in the New York Times to ask to speak to him privately, telling him that “everything” in the article was “bullsh*t” and not to be believed.

The Federalist’s Mollie Hemingway reports:

McCabe claimed to want Priebus to know the FBI’s perspective that this story was not true. Priebus pointed to the televisions that were going non-stop on the story. He asked if the FBI could say publicly what he had just told him. McCabe said he’d have to check, according to the book.

McCabe reportedly called back and said he couldn’t do anything about it. Then-FBI director James Comey reportedly called later and also said he couldn’t do anything, but did offer to brief the Senate Intelligence Committee on the matter later that week, suggesting they’d spill the beans publicly.

[…]

There seems to be a disparity between what FBI officials tell reporters under the cloak of anonymity and what they admit under oath or to those who are more knowledgeable of the matters at hand. Opponents of President Trump, be they the media, Democratic activists, or Never Trump Republicans, are moving on from Russia conspiracies to claims of obstruction of justice.

(snip)

Or, in other words, a direct SET UP on the democratically elected President of the United States.

AP learns fired McCabe kept personal memos regarding Trump

WASHINGTON (AP) — Andrew McCabe, the onetime FBI deputy director long scorned by President Trump and just fired by the attorney general, kept personal memos regarding Trump that are similar to the notes compiled by dismissed FBI chief James Comey detailing interactions with him, The Associated Press has learned.

It was not immediately clear whether any of McCabe’s memos have been turned over to special counsel Robert Mueller, whose criminal investigation is examining Trump campaign ties to Russia and possible obstruction of justice, or been requested by Mueller.

McCabe’s memos include details of interactions with the president, among other topics, according to a person with direct knowledge of the situation who wasn’t authorized to discuss the memos publicly and spoke on condition of anonymity.

It’s been reported that they started the secret off site F B I meetings after Trump won. It’s in the texts. He must have been very comfortable in those unofficial but very office deep state off site meetings to let everyone know he was going after both Flynn and Trump.

The McCabes just shut down their “legal defense fund” through gofundme.
They raised $554,520 in four days. Not a bad haul.

McCabe is one of the kingpins who attempted to take down a duly elected President of the United States. Too many witnesses and too much metadata - they haven’t released McCabe’s texts yet... but if/when they do...

Shortened title.

Full title: EPORT: Andrew McCabe Altered Peter Strzok’s 302 Notes on General Flynn interview – Then Destroyed Evidence

I’d like to know what the average State Senate candidate in Virginia raises? For a State Senate race, that’s a freaking lot of money.

That’s a huge contribution for a job that pays $18,000 a year. We need to do some research here, folks. Let’s see how much her competitor raised. These are big numbers for State senate races.

It looks like McCabe has set his defense fund up as a charitable trust: “Friends of Andrew McCabe Legal Defense Fund.” If McCabe’s attorney does it right, it might well be granted tax-exempt status.

Most legal defense funds are organized as an irrevocable charitable trust. The trust document empowers a board of trustees to manage the trust funds according to the terms of an operating plan, included with the trust formation document and outlining its objective.

As an irrevocable trust, the defense fund is a separate tax entity and will need to apply for a federal EIN from the IRS.

Using the EIN they open a bank account in the name of the charitable trust. The donors’ funds can then be pooled in the account. Only trustees or those they grant power of attorney to access the account should be able to do so.

The IRS treats tax exempt organizations differently depending on whether the source of its funds are a small group of individuals or the public at large. A small donor base is treated as a foundation, which will not be advantageous if the organization is not particularly wealthy. Although the initial base might be small, taking in public donations will allow the most favorable tax treatment. McCabe has better than 13,000 donors.

If the defense fund serves a public, rather than private interest, it can apply for tax exempt status. If it does so within 27 months from its organization, the trust can be retroactively recognized as tax exempt from its inception. Not only does tax exempt status prevent the funds raised from being taxed, it provides a tax deduction for donors.

So can we all set up tax exempt trusts? I guess this is how the swamp lives large and pays no taxes? I only thought the Kennedy clan and Nancy Pelosi did that?

These are big numbers for State senate races.

There is a lot of variability in the cost of state senate races.

According to this site, the median cost of a state senate race across the 50 states is $110,149. Interestingly, the mean cost is higher, at $188,105, indicating there are some expensive states pulling the mean up above the median. The average cost for the Virginia senate is, unfortunately, "n/a". The cost of the average state senate race in states for which the blogger has values ranges from $7,143 in North Dakota to $850,868 in California. Texas comes in second at $653,056.

Not surprisingly, the cost of a US Senate race is much higher. The median cost ratio of a US Senate race to a state senate race is 76, and the mean 56.
