There is more to it than that—Trump has spent a year crowing about how compassionate he is and how he will do more to help the DACA thugs than the Dems will. But I am glad he seems to have reversed course again.
There should be no DACA.
It was illegal from inception.
If we had an opposition party they would have stopped it before it started in 2012.
The GOP refused to sue.
This reminds me of the scene in the Penguin’s office in the “Blues Brothers”. Jake offered to help, the offer was refused, and then he said “Well I guess you’re really up s#it creek!”
Trump offered to help the Dems with any DACA bill they brought him. They refused his help. So now I’d say they’re really up s#it creek.
Now he can declare a national emergency (illegals, drugs, criminals, etc) and use his power as the chief executive to use all available means needed to secure the border.
The Democrats get nothing. If they try to get some looney-tune judge to stop him, there’s only 200+ years of historical precedent of the Potus using executive authority to enforce our borders.
in that invasion caravan....CNN will find a starving child, old ladies that need medicine, and a 4 year old that needs a life saving kidney transplant and report on it 24/7...then say how evil Trump is..

Get the military on the border.
Is our president so naive as to think McConnell and the other Republicans are going to do anything about this? Nuclear option, my foot. Why is he tweeting for them to do something when this is a matter of national security - well within his power to take action. He should never have signed that omnibus bill. He and we got suckered.

With President Trump offering a deal for more than what the dims wanted and their refusing the offer, how can you not expect a retaliation?
With that happening at least twice, how can anyone claim that, just on a whimsy, he decided to be strong against DACA?
Add to that the fiasco that is descending upon us on the Mexican border. AM I THE ONLY ONE THAT DID NOT EXPECT THAT?

You are correct. This is all aimed at a grand media driven confrontation at the border with wall to wall coverage and embedded reporters with the invader mob. The caravan needs to be stopped well short of the border by any means necessary short of shooting all of them on camera.

They aren't planning to storm the border. They'll walk up to the door and ask for asylum.
By law they get a hearing and we'll take them in until they do.
A wall won't make any difference in this case - new laws from Congress might.

This caravan of illegals calls themselves "Migrantes en la lucha" ("Migrants in the Fight") organized about a month ago by a mysterious group Pueblo Sin Fronteras (People Without Borders) who declare "We want to become one, supporting us shoulder to shoulder and show that together we can break down borders".

1. Question: how can this event be construed as anything other than an invasion pointed directly at the US sovereign border?
2. Question: if these 'refugees' are in such peril in their homeland, why are the Mexicans not giving them asylum?
3. Question: Pope Francis who has often shown sympathy for such refugees, why doesn't he use the vast Vatican wealth to arrange a ship to bring them to Rome?

Trump is tweeting about it because Twinkle Toes Mattis won’t support him on The Wall. Deep State DOD will fight him every bit as hard on this as the DOJ does on FBIgate.
