California north of San Francisco is red! Not all of CA is wacked; not even all of LA.
*ALL* of us genuine conservatives here need help. In great part thanks to REPUBLICAN President Bush opening the borders for invasion and demographic ‘reconquista’.
What the heck are you doing on a board for conservatives or Americans?
But for some reason all anyone can remember is California, as if it has the only people in office that want to protect illegals.
Same thing as you ... we don’t want liberals or faux conservatives in Arizona
The CA (medical shorthand for cancer) has already metastasized, unfortunately. You’d have to also cut out Nevada and parts of TX, AZ and NM as well. Not practical. Just enforce the damn law and let CA be the isolated rogue state it is. We can win without them.
It's interesting that California is the BIGGEST contributor in every Freep-a-thon!
True America loving conservatives are more than welcome in Arizona ...
West Virginia became a separate state, as a result of Virginia declaring secession for the US.
In 1859 California passed the Pico Act, requesting that Southern California be split off as a separate state. The governor signed the bill, and 75 percent of voters in Southern California voted for it as a referendum. Congress needed to approve the split. Because of the secession of Southern States, Congress did not vote on it.
Bring back California’s Pico Act, and declare that since Congress failed to vote on California’s wishes in 1859, Congress will now take up the Pico Act.
In the process, declare that since California has voted to ignore Federal Immigration Laws, and declared that anyone cooperating in the implementation of Federal Immigration laws will be arrested, the Legislature of the state of California is now in rebellion.
Amend the original Pico Act and use the amended version to split California up into multiple states, to include the State of Jefferson in Northern California.
Obama had no problem declaring that Arizona could not, on its own, enforce Federal Immigration law, and Arizona was ruled in violation of the Supremacy Clause.
So isn’t it true that California is in violation, since it refuses to enforce Federal Law, or cooperate with ICE in fulfilling their obligations under law?
Is not the state of California Legislature in rebellion?
Don’t want ‘em here in CA, either. Send in the National Guard, locked and loaded :-)
Actually if California was prohibited from counting illegals in the US census, their representation in the House of Representative would plummet.
Works for me ...
Hell ... I’s volunteer to help the National Guard with that
The problem with California is arguably not California per se.
Consider that all roads of corruption in the federal and state governments lead to Congress imo.
More specifically, the Founding States were concerned about renegade states that could rise and possibly destabilize the whole Union, and gave the feds specific enumerated powers to deal with such states.
Article I, Section 8, Clause 15: To provide for calling forth the Militia to execute the Laws of the Union, suppress Insurrections [emphasis added] and repel Invasions;
"Article IV, Section 4: The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government [emphasis added], and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence."
The problem with the referenced constitutional safeguards this. We're still stuck with a corrupt, post-17th Amendment ratification Congress left over from the lawless Obama Administration, Congress having a track record for basically shrugging its shoulders with respect to renegade states like California and Illinois.
The remedy
Patriots in all states can exercise their voting power to deal with California by giving Pres. Trump a new Congress that will not only support Trump's vision for MAGA, but actually do its job to keep the peace by making punitive laws to deal with radical state leaders.
Also, repealing the 17th Amendment would effectively secede all the states from the corrupt federal government imo. (Are you listening Gov. Brown?)
The 16th Amendment can disappear too.
Insights welcome.
Well give them Las Vegas and take all of Lake Tahoe and San Diego.
Where are you headed Mark? Back to PI?
Then divide what’s left into two states, Jefferson and Pacifica, both would be Red States.
***************
Let’s do that.
I’d go for that, I’d vote to have them leave. But they must promise to keep everything Hollywood there, including their actors. Maybe some Californians would like it if they could secede from Taxafornia. I’d even throw in Arnold to keep him in Taxafornia.
California north of San Francisco is red! ..... Which red are you talking about? Marin County?
Well, your reference to “refugees” kinda pissed me off; if situations were reversed I’d welcome every Constitution revering American and their arsenal (amazing how I recovered my stuff after that boating accident before I left, eh?). Going to fight the fight here, because not all of my family can leave, it’s not like picking up a kid or three and moving to unoccupied America.
It *WAS* a Republican president that let the camel get it’s nose under the tent, once we had this horde voting of course they voted in moonbeam and the agents of the Reconquista.
