Regardless of party, “civilian oversight boards” or as they used to be called, “citizen review boards,” have always been a catastrophe.

I agree. They are usually populated with Cop Hating Miscreants like ( pick one).
Might as well call them the Black Lives Matter Review Board. They will screw up things which is just what the Citizens of Chicago who stay in that town deserve.
