Yeah, I was hoping it was McCarthy when I saw the headline. He and VDH over there at NR are great. David French is actually a good writer when he’s on the right side of an issue, but of course that’s rare. Jonah Goldberg used to be a great read. It’s amazing to me that he could a write a book like Liberal Fascism and then just a few years later turn into a ridiculous Trump hater with zero instincts.
I don’t care what he wrote about Trump then. I am talking about NOW. Post-election. He has been front and center on this story.

Yep - one guy on Fox posited that they knew how bad it was that, while they were whining that trump wouldn’t release it, they purposely did what they could to delay their own memo....Schiff started with a pile of himself and opted to run with it even though he knew it wouldn’t help him a fig.
Skepticism is fine. After all, the circumstances of a businessman with no political experience is warranted.
But Victor Davis Hanson wasn’t part of that Never Trump crowd. His appearances after the election were terrific too.
