That’s a different kind of Turkey. You don’t hear the term being used that way very often nowadays. Not like 30 years ago.

Nothing. Cyprus was a independent nation since 1960. Of sorts. 74 was just Turks killing Christians for territorial gain. An invasion of Greece, a NATO member, would be quite different. In the unlikely event it happened, Greece would be on their own relative to NATO, which would debate the issue. Israel might act. And then there are the other new but significant Mideast/Mediterranean players, Russia and Iran. Could be quite a mess. But were I Greece, I wouldn’t depend on NATO. The US, also another story.
